
MONTHLY AND WEEKLY MONIX MEETINGS
The MONIX Digital Scanner Team (DST) meets at 12:00 Noon every Tuesday at the American Legion
Post 530 on Winton Road in Greenhills, just 500 feet south of Sharon Road. Walk up the green ramp to the
north side door. Monitor the talk-in frequency on your scanner or two-way radio, 146.880 w/ 123.0 PL.
If a Skywarn net is active switch to 443.400. (GPS Coordinates: 39* 16' 21" North, 84* 21' 20" West)
The club also meets the 2nd Saturday of each month for more in depth discussion. Meetings are held at the
LCNB bank, 425 West Central Avenue (Ohio SR 73) in Springboro (Exit 38 off I-75). Meetings start at 6
PM ET
unless otherwise specified. Monitor 145.290 on your scanner or two-way for talk-in. Programs and topics vary,

We do update radios at the meeting for those needing updates.
The January meeting has been re-scheduled for Saturday January 30th at
the LCNB 425 West Central Avenue (Ohio SR 73) in Springboro, Ohio.
The meeting starts at 6:00 PM.
We offer training and programming of most digital scanners at our meetings, plus
discussion of local radio news, and other areas of interests.

AREA RADIO MONITORING NETS
The MONIX Shortwave and Scanner Listener`s Information
Net takes place Thursday evenings at 8:30 PM local time on the
146.880 Cincinnati FM Club Repeater in Greenhills. It
is an open net and all check-ins are welcome, if you can`t check-in,
then you can listen in on your scanner. Check in and let us know what
you are hearing!
We also suggest you check in and listen in to the All Ohio
Scanner Club's Scanner and Shortwave Listeners' Net held every Monday
evening at 9:30 pm on the 146.940 (123.0 PL) W8BI repeater in Dayton.
The heart of MONIX is
our Scanner Frequency List for the Cincinnati/Dayton Area. This list
has grown from just a few pages in 1987 to over 60 pages today. The
list covers frequencies actually monitored by club members.
